Our practice strives to provide our patients with the best care possible. Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients and their babies. We are pleased to offer an optional ultrasound utilizing the newest technology in ultrasound imaging for improved visualization.

 

The Keepsake Ultrasound provides 3D and 4D images for our patients who are interested in this live or real-time non-diagnostic ultrasound imaging. The best time to obtain the Keepsake Ultrasound is between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy; however, the baby must be in a position that allows for the scan with no obstructions. Our practice makes available specific thirty (30) minute appointments designated for the Keepsake Ultrasound. Only after the anatomy scan (at approximately 20 weeks) has been completed will the Keepsake Ultrasound be performed.

 

The cost of the Keepsake Ultrasound is $150 which must be paid by cash or credit card (no checks) at the time the appointment is scheduled. The fee covers use of the ultrasound equipment and the sonographer’s time. This is an elective ultrasound and will not be covered by insurance. Your Keepsake Ultrasound images will be sent to a designated cell phone or email address via Trice Imaging software for you to download at home. If you so choose, the sonographer may also include a CD of all images obtained during the appointment as well as three printed pictures.
